Status:
Kim: concentrating on the SIGMETRICS paper
Helen: working on paper for WMCSA workshop
Dena: modifying TCP to circumvent a bug
Ben + Steve: integrating SDS into the iSpace network for the Thursday milestone, SDS meetings
Giao: confirming NS test data with data from Reiner. Small discrepancies in the output.
Chen-nee: experimenting with NS and dealing with the learning curve. Starting work on the GSM security model.
Bhaskar: working on control path between UPSim and IPPad. Asked Ericsson for a PlusCode expert to come and help with some of the debugging.
Sree: downloaded the H.323 stack and going over the protocol. Starting the security project and dealing with the MASH toolkit. Project: integrating security framework into the MASH toolkit.
Jimmy: also working on same security project as Sree. Modified datapath on BTS to allow multiple calls.
Emre: moving path creation stuff from SIMJA to iSpace. No test numbers for performance yet.
Takagi: early stage of investigation on Bluetooth. Looking at the MAC scheme and the polling scheme. Also reading about NS. Headaches from NS error messages.
Reiner: working with Dena and Kim on SIGMETRICS paper.

Goals:

We should think of the NINJA/ICEBERG group as working on a communications mechanism for the 21st Century, from everything from desktops to handhelds to all heterogeneous end devices.


Motorola coming tomorrow, yet another demo. Oy vey! Talk at 1pm, 2pm demo, and 2:45 discussion and brainstorming. They should have an interesting reaction to the recent AT&T internet research center announcement. The members of the research center have been announced.
